Triptorelin is a decaptide, which acts as an agonist to Gonadotropin releasing hormone, triptorelin is effective in increasing the amounts of testosterone through the stimulation of the anterior lobe of the hypothalamus. The main mechanism of action is through the countering of the effects of follicle stimulating hormone or FSH and LH or luteinizing hormone.
