WHAT ARE PEPTIDES?

Peptides are compounds formed by combining one or more natural amino acids having a covalent bond. Amino acids are the combination of major building blocks of proteins and several other types of organic molecules. The digestion of proteins in the body usually creates peptides. Different kinds of peptides are rapidly and readily absorbed by bloodstream. It is due to this reason; peptides are especially effective as skin care ingredients. Proteins and peptides represent a diverse range of possibilities as every peptide profile functions differently and several molecular biologists spend years in researching to unveil the potential of individual compounds to explore much about their work.
